Our Rooms: Simple, Clean and Made for Surfers

People often ask what the rooms at Surfing Life are like. The honest answer: simple, clean and built around what surfers actually need.
Five rooms, all ensuite
We currently have five rooms, and every one has its own ensuite bathroom:
- Two double rooms, each with a comfortable double bed.
- One twin room with two single beds, good for friends travelling together.
- Two small double rooms, our budget option for surfers who spend most of the day in the water anyway.
Every room has a ceiling fan and mosquito nets. Most guests find that the evening breeze through the garden, plus the fan, keeps things comfortable.
2014 room rates
These were our rates for 2014, in Sri Lankan rupees per night:

The small doubles don’t include breakfast. For the other rooms, breakfast depends on the time of season, so please ask when you book.
Prices have changed since 2014. Please message us for current rates.
Made for surfers
- Board storage. There’s upright storage for your boards so they don’t get dinged or cooked in the sun.
- Board rental. If you’re travelling light, Eric has boards to rent.
- Early starts. Dawn patrol is normal here, so the house wakes up early and goes quiet early.
- A garden to recover in. After a long session, there’s a hammock with your name on it.
