A Fresh Look: Our Reimagined Rooms

Surfing Life started as a few simple rooms for surfers in a family home. That spirit hasn’t changed: we’re still a relaxed, friendly guest house where people come to surf, eat well and slow down. But our rooms have had a big refresh.

Reimagined, room by room

Over the past seasons we’ve given every room a modern, elegant touch. That means fresh paint and natural textures, quality linens, thoughtful lighting and local artwork on the walls. Each room now has its own personality.

The rooms today

• Budget Double Rooms (two). Our most affordable rooms, fan-cooled and comfortable. Great for surfers who spend all day in the water.
• Twin Room. Two single beds, fan-cooled, perfect for friends travelling together.
• Triple Room. Air-conditioned, sleeping up to three.
• Cabana Room. Our signature private cabana, sleeping up to three.
• Deluxe Rooms (two). Air-conditioned and the most spacious, for when you want a little extra comfort.

What hasn’t changed

• The garden and the hammocks. Still the best place to spend an afternoon.
• Board hire and storage. Still here for surfers travelling with or without boards.
• The welcome. Still a small, family-run place where you’ll know everyone by the second evening.
• The location. Still close to Weligama’s beginner waves and the reef breaks towards Midigama.
